Terms of Service for TradLinker, TradAssist, and TradCoord

1. Publisher and scope

TradLinker, TradAssist, and TradCoord are Discord bots published and operated by:

These Terms apply to all three bots, collectively referred to as the “Services.” The Services are independent from Discord and are not sponsored or endorsed by Discord.

2. Acceptance and access

An administrator accepts these Terms when inviting, configuring, or using a Service on a server. The administrator confirms that they have the authority required to act on behalf of that server.

A user accepts the Terms when voluntarily using a command, button, menu, form, reaction, or poll intended for a Service. Receiving an automated message or having content copied automatically does not, by itself, constitute acceptance.

You must comply with the minimum age required by Discord and applicable law, Discord's terms and rules, and the rules of the relevant server.

3. Services and plans

  • TradLinker connects channels associated with different languages and translates and relays messages, replies, edits, deletions, reactions, and attachments. It also provides multilingual polls. Its free plan currently includes, per server, one group, up to five channels in that group, and one active poll. Its Premium plan includes up to ten groups, fifteen channels per group, and five active polls.
  • TradAssist translates text, individual messages, or groups of messages on demand, supports multilingual publications, and may trigger translations through reactions. It may include a quota-limited free plan, an individual Platinum plan, and a server-based Premium plan.
  • TradCoord helps communities manage onboarding, rule acceptance, languages, roles, and channel access. It is normally included in a server's Premium access purchased through TradLinker or TradAssist and does not process payments itself.

Depending on the offer, a server's Premium access may activate TradCoord and lift limits on TradAssist features.

The applicable features, limits, prices inclusive of taxes, and benefits are those shown before checkout or within the Service. TLK Forge may temporarily make certain features available without payment; this does not create any permanent right to continued free access.

4. Subscriptions, payments, and contributions

Subscriptions offered through TradLinker or TradAssist are concluded for the period displayed at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are handled by an external provider; the Services do not receive payment-card or banking details.

Paid access is activated after payment confirmation. It may be suspended or removed following a failed payment, non-payment, cancellation, or refund. More than one person may fund the same server; its Premium access remains active while at least one valid subscription remains.

Subscribers may cancel through the management button or portal provided by the Service or request assistance at tradsphere@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. No partial refund is due for that period unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

When paid access ends, free limits may apply again. Configurations, groups, channels, polls, or messages exceeding the applicable limits may be removed. Administrators must first retain any items they wish to preserve.

TradLinker may also allow a one-time voluntary contribution in the amount displayed before payment. A contribution is separate from a subscription, grants no Premium benefit unless expressly stated, and is not a charitable donation eligible for a tax reduction or tax receipt.

5. Withdrawal and consumer guarantees

A consumer has fourteen days from the conclusion of a subscription to exercise the right of withdrawal without giving a reason.

By subscribing, the consumer expressly requests immediate activation of the Service before that period expires. If the right is exercised after activation, the consumer remains liable for the amount proportionate to the Service already provided, in accordance with Article L. 221-25 of the French Consumer Code.

A withdrawal request may be sent to tradsphere@gmail.com using the form in the appendix or any other unambiguous statement. Statutory guarantees applicable to digital services remain fully applicable.

6. Obligations and acceptable use

You must use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the rights of other users.

In particular, you must not:

  • publish, translate, or relay unlawful content or content that infringes a third party's rights;
  • harass, deceive, abusively monitor, discriminate against, or disclose confidential information about any person;
  • circumvent quotas or technical limits, overload, or disrupt the Services;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to non-public code, secrets, infrastructure, or backups;
  • exploit a vulnerability or resell or copy the Services without permission.

Administrators must inform their members that the Services are being used, make the Privacy Policy available, limit permissions to what is necessary, and verify the selected channels, roles, languages, reactions, webhooks, logs, and other settings. They must not submit passwords, tokens, sensitive data, or unnecessary personal information.

7. Content, relays, and translations

You retain the rights you hold in content submitted to the Services. You grant TLK Forge a non-exclusive permission, limited to the time necessary, to process, transmit, translate, and display that content in order to provide and secure the Services.

You confirm that you hold the necessary rights in that content and remain responsible for its lawfulness, destination, and accuracy.

Translations are automated and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for the context. They must be checked by a competent person before any legal, medical, financial, safety-related, or other important use.

Copies relayed by TradLinker may reproduce the author's visible username and avatar through a webhook. Detailed poll results may show participants the usernames and choices of voters. Administrators must inform members before enabling these features.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, their code, names, and documentation remain protected by the intellectual-property rights of TLK Forge or their respective owners.

Subject to compliance with these Terms, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the Services within Discord.

9. Availability and third-party services

The Services are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis, with no guarantee of permanent availability or service level. They may be modified, suspended, or interrupted for maintenance, security, technical development, or because of an external event.

They depend in particular on Discord and on translation, payment, hosting, and backup providers. Interruptions, limits, or changes affecting those providers may affect the Services.

10. Suspension and end of use

You may stop using a Service at any time by removing it, revoking its permissions, ceasing to use its features, or cancelling your subscription.

TLK Forge may suspend or terminate access for a user or server in the event of a breach of these Terms, abuse, non-payment, a security risk, a legal request, or discontinuation of a Service.

11. Liability

Users remain responsible for the content they select, checking translations, and how the results are used. Administrators remain responsible for configured permissions, roles, channels, languages, reactions, webhooks, polls, messages, and other settings.

To the extent permitted by law, TLK Forge is liable only for direct, foreseeable, and proven losses resulting from a breach attributable to it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or a consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Removing a bot or ending a subscription does not necessarily erase content already published on Discord or data subject to a statutory retention period. Requests may be sent to tradsphere@gmail.com or submitted through the support server.

13. Changes

TLK Forge may amend these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, plans, Discord rules, or applicable law. The new version states its effective date. Any material change affecting an active subscription will be communicated on a durable medium within a reasonable period. If you reject it, you may cancel the subscription and stop using the Services.

14. Complaints and governing law

Any complaint must first be sent to tradsphere@gmail.com. If no amicable solution is reached, consumers may use the remedies available under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by French law without depriving consumers of any mandatory protection applicable in their country of residence. The competent courts are determined by applicable legal rules.
